A new concept in an old building
Our story starts back in 1958 when this now historical building in Galesburg, IL was a Ford dealership. This building has been home to many businesses since then, but in 2019 a major renovation was started to bring it back to its original state with an added outdoor patio for the whole community to enjoy. Blake got his brewing passion back in 2012 when he received a home brewing kit for Christmas from his younger brothers Trent and Adam. Blake and Trent opened the brewery and taproom Reserve Artisan Ales and The Vault, Galesburg’s newest and largest event venue.
A Part Of Galesburg Since 1953
Built in 1953, our full facility was once the original home of McCreery Motors, a local car dealership in Downtown Galesburg. It was later home to Lakis Ford before relocating to the west side of town. You can still find all the brick exterior, the exposed wooden beams, garage car port openings, and skylights from the original dealership in the 50s.
Our Tap Bus Story
Our vibrant restored bus with 30 taps has been restored to be our beer, wine, and soda cooler. We found it on a property that was being cleaned up, and we knew it had another life ahead. It’s first life was as a 1960s Peoria city bus. Take a look at the before and after here! It is truly the gem of the taproom.

Our Patio
Our historic 4,500 square ft. patio is truly a dream any time of year. Cozy and warm in the cooler months with our heaters and fire tables and cool and shaded during the warmer months.
These trusses began their life pre-WWII on a hemp farm outside of East Galesburg (on the corner of Freemont & Co. Rd 9). This building was a drying barn to manufacture ropes. Then, the barn became a sale barn where livestock were sold for many years. The property is now private, but our owners approached the Tolley family to help demo the barn, so we could properly repurpose them.
